Assistant Principal

Hailing from the small town of Greenville, Georgia, I am Dr. Carla Glanton. I am very excited to serve as Heritage Elementary’s Assistant Principal! I began my career as an educator in 2002 in Meriwether County, Georgia. I have had the great pleasure to work with many students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. I began serving in the Bibb County School District in 2004, and I have absolutely enjoyed being a part of the Central Georgia community. I have a Ph.D. in K-12 Studies in Education. I am the daughter of a retired principal and a retired teacher, and I am the auntie of several nieces and nephews. I enjoy reading, shopping, and listening to music.
